Stark Associates have assisted many clients with a diversity of projects. A main portion of our workload is providing Bills of Quantities in a 'Contractors format' for tendering. Illustrated below are some instances where we were engaged to help:

Multistorey Quayside Office, Glasgow

Our client, an international contractor, approached us on this project to provide contractors quantities for negotiation of price with the client. The project was a seven storey office building with retail space at ground floor level and also had extensive basement car parking

Redevelopment of  College Campus, Glasgow

Our client, an international contractor, was tendering for the project on a two stage basis. We were approached to provide contractors quantities at the second stage for negotiation of the final price for the project.

Construction of New Motor Cycle Test Facility & Retail Units, Ayr

Our client, a large national building contractor, had to price for this scheme and we were asked to produce a contractors bill for the work involved to enable tender submission on a design and build format to be presented.

Redevelopment of Newspaper offices to Housing, Arbroath

Our client, a regional contractor, was involved in a tender that had very complex  issues, including demolition of existing structures and parts of existing structures to allow for construction of new structures. We were able to produce contractors bills which required a very good understanding of the complex nature of the works from limited design information available at tender stage.

New Blast Proof Underground Control Centre, London

Our client, a national contractor, had a tender for construction of a new blast proof control room structure alongside an existing live rail track. We produced bills of quantities which measured and clearly defined the elemental parts in this complex project.

New Substations, London Heathrow

Our client, a national contractor, had a tender for construction of two new concrete & steel framed substations to be constructed airside at the Airport. We produced bills of quantities which allowed the contractor to submit a detailed tender submission for scrutiny by the Employer.
